We made an order for collection an hour in advance, which went through, was accepted by the restaurant, and payment was taken for, and when we showed up, the restaurant was already closed. No one was there and we didn't get our food. This was 20 minutes before the closing time advertised online, and on a collection time that was available to choose on the website. They allowed us to choose this time, the restaurant was supposed to be open, the order was accepted, no notification was sent to cancel the order, and yet we didn't get our food. When we called, I appreciate that the response was quick, but their solution was for us to come back to the restaurant and get a refund, when I really don't think we should need to do anything to solve a problem that was entirely of their making.
